Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

This site is a personal professional website. It does not run advertising, sell products, or build user profiles. This policy explains, in plain language, what information is collected and how it is used.

What information is collected

Contact form submissions

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and message are collected. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry. It is transmitted via Resend and is not stored in a database or shared with any third party.

Cloudflare

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through the Cloudflare network. Cloudflare may log IP addresses and browser information as part of its CDN, security, and DDoS protection services. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

Cloudflare Turnstile

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated spam. Turnstile analyses browser signals to distinguish humans from bots. No personal data is stored as a result of this check.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are most visited and how long people spend on them. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect your IP address and browser information. No personally identifiable information is collected or shared. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies and tracking

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and track sessions. No other cookies are set by this site. There are no advertising or third-party tracking scripts beyond Google Analytics.

How your information is used

Contact form submissions are used only to respond to your message. Your email address will not be added to any mailing list, sold, or shared with any third party without your explicit consent.

Data retention

Email correspondence is retained for as long as it is relevant to the enquiry. You may request deletion of any personal data you have submitted by contacting mark at markperryid.com.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or similar legislation. These include the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data held about you.

To exercise any of these rights, contact: mark at markperryid.com
