Mark Perry — Pre-Sales Expert, Author & Keynote Speaker

Mark Perry has spent more than thirty years doing the thing he now writes and speaks about: turning deep technical expertise into business trust. Starting with Netscape in the early web era, through Sun Microsystems, IBM, Oracle, and Ping Identity, he built a career at the intersection of technology and commercial outcome — as a practitioner, architect, and customer-facing leader.

That career is the foundation of Architecting Influence — Mastering the Art of Technical Pre-Sales, his forthcoming book, course, and workshop series. The Influence Architecture framework — Ground, Orient, Elevate, Anchor — distils thirty years of pre-sales experience into a model that helps technologists become trusted advisors.

Mark is also one of the Asia-Pacific region's most experienced voices on digital identity and open data. In Australia, he served on the federal government's advisory committee for the Consumer Data Right from its inception through 2020. As Chief Growth Officer at Biza.io — his first C-level and startup role — he led customer strategy at Australia's open banking infrastructure platform, helping financial institutions and fintechs navigate open data and regulatory change. He is now working in the Verifiable Credentials space as an advisor and product lead, bringing the same thread of identity, trust, and commercial outcome to the next generation of digital credentials.
